Also known as blood orange, Tarocco (meaning beautiful in Sicilian dialect) was discovered by Baronessa's great great grandfather Gesualdo Di Naro in Francofonte, Sicily. One day he found an orange with a unique red color, sweetness, and flavor. This fruit, rich in antioxidants, has been used by Baronessa's family in the same way they use everything from their lands, internally and externally.
