Pendleton© Chief Joseph Blanket in Rosewood

$485.00

First woven in the 1920s, this USA-made wool blanket has been one of the most popular Pendleton designs ever since Chief Joseph led the Nez Perce tribe out of North Eastern Oregon in the late 1800's. Widely admired for protecting his people and speaking the truth, he is honored with this design, symbolizing bravery with bold arrowheads to represent the chief's courage, strength and integrity. Reverses for two different looks.

(Note for the Rosewood design: A portion of the proceeds support women's health through N.A.R.A. (Native American Rehabilitation Association).

  • 82% pure virgin wool/18% cotton, 6.7lbs
  • Napped; fabric is combed for a softer, thicker feel
  • Felt binding
  • Made in the USA with fabric woven in American mills
