Since the early 20th century, Pendleton Woolen Mills has honored America's National Parks with a collection of distinctive blankets, with historic markings and colors dating back to the frontier trading posts, where traders would indicate the weight of the blanket offered in exchange for furs by holding up one finger for each pound. The original blankets incorporated three to five black stripes in the design to indicate the value of the blanket. Colors and variations of the original striped theme have been adapted to reflect distinguishing characteristics of each park and blanket in the collection.

This made-in-USA wool blanket features the updated Yellowstone pattern, designed to capture the varied colors and landscapes of our country's oldest national park. Includes a special woven label with park name and image of an important natural feature.
